If Suicide Silence’s “Doris” Was Traditional Deathcore, It Would Sound Like This

Last week, some guys re-recorded Linkin Park’s new single, “Heavy,” to make it sound more like the traditional, super-nu-metal Linkin Park most people remember. Now some other guys have done something similar with Suicide Silence’s “Doris.” I’m one of the six people on earth who likes “Doris” just fine the way it is, but I’m still enjoying this trend. Maybe next someone can turn Ilud Divinum Insanus into death metal or Lulu into thrash or Chinese Democracy into hair metal or Emmure into music. There are a lot of great possibilities here.
