Contest: Decipher the Lyrics to Darkest Hour’s “Timeless Numbers” and Win a Ton of Awesome Stuff!
THE TIME IS ALMOST UPON US: Darkest Hour’s MetalSucks-sponsored tour in support of their new album, Godless Prophets & The Migrant Flora, kicks off next week! Darkest Hour couldn’t put on a lousy show if they tried, but given that Godless Prophets is the band’s best album since 2005’s neo-classic Undoing Ruin, these shows promise to be EXTRA rad.
To celebrate, MetalSucks is teaming up with Darkest Hour to give away some sweet swag. Specifically:
- A copy of Godless Prophets & The Migrant Flora on vinyl
- A hand-written lyric sheet from vocalist John Henry
- A Darkest Hour t-shirt
- One pair of tickets to any stop on the tour
Excellent, right? So how do you win?
We thought we’d have a little fun with this one. Metal screams are notoriously difficult to decipher, and those of Mr. Henry are no different. So here’s what you’re gonna do: listen to the Godless Prophets track “Timeless Numbers” below, then try and figure out what the heck John Henry is saying! In the unlikely event someone gets the lyrics 100% correct, that person will win; otherwise, Vince and Axl will pick the 3-4 entries they think are the funniest/most clever, and the band will determine a winner. Your very silly lyrics will be presented here on MetalSucks, natch.
