Video: Slipknot’s Corey Taylor Covers David Bowie’s “China Girl” Live in Los Angeles
It’s no secret that Corey Taylor, like 99% of the world, loved David Bowie. After all, dude has Bowie’s face tattooed on his arm:
So Taylor was an obvious choice to participate in this week’s “Celebrating David Bowie” tribute concert at The Wiltern in Los Angeles. The Slipknot/Stone Sour frontman covered Bowie’s classic, “China Girl,” from 1983’s Let’s Dance — and did a heckuva job at that. You can check out fan-filmed footage below:

Other all-star vocalists to participate in the event, in case you’re curious, included Joe Elliott (Def Leppard), Ian Astbury (The Cult), Angelo Moore (Fishbone), and, Gavin Rossdale (Bush). Must have been an interesting green room.
