Mastodon Release Sample of New Song + Album Artwork

The promotional onslaught for the new Mastodon album has begun in earnest. The band have already announced a tour and released a series of funny video teasers; now they’ve launched a website, eos360, which offers a 360° view of what we’re assuming is the cover art for the new record. (above). More exciting still, it features a sample of new music, which sounds very promising. You can check all of that good stuff out here.

Meanwhile, Metal Injection surmises that the new album may, in fact, be called Eos. We’ve been told the record is about cancer, but I’d pretty stoked if it were somehow about beauty products, too.
