Grim Reaper’s Steve Grimmett Loses Leg to “Aggressive Infection”

Terrible news this morning: Grim Reaper’s Steve Grimmett has become ill with an “aggressive infection” according to his wife, Millie. As a result, doctors have had to amputate the legendary vocalist’s right leg below the knee. (At one point, Millie says Steve is having “limbs,” plural, removed, but it appears doctors ultimately only had to remove the leg.) The silver lining, however faint in a situation like this, is that Grimmett is alive and recovering and apparently “in high spirits, joking and laughing.”
