Video: Jim Carrey Dresses Up Like + Performs with Alice Cooper

I guess if you’re a movie star who wants to pretend to be a rock star, Alice Cooper is now your go-to guy. First it was Johnny Depp. Now it’s Jim Carrey, who performed with Cooper in Maui on New Year’s Eve, while wearing Cooper-style face paint. It sounds like the comedian is better that your average karaoke singer, too.

Carrey, of course, is no stranger to the metal world: he played an Axl Rose-esque rockstar in The Dead Pool, personally enlisted Cannibal Corpse for a cameo in Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, and collaborated with Cynic’s Paul Masvidal. Also, his daughter was married to a death metal singer, so that’s nice.
