Suicide Silence Announce Winter Tour with Plague Vendor
Have you checked out the new Suicide Silence song “Doris” yet? I happen to think it’s one of the best songs they’ve released in a very long time, which I’m sure will be controversial amongst purist SS fans. At the very least no one can deny this: it’s different. The band is trying to shake things up a bit and move forward and, in my opinion, it’s working.
To celebrate the release of their forthcoming self-titled album (February 24th, Nuclear Blast; pre-order here), Suicide Silence have announced a mini-tour of intimate dates this winter. Plague Vendor will open the shows, which are being hosted at venues smaller than the ones the band normally plays, and following SS’s set Cameron “Big Chocolate” Argon will spin the entire new album in full.
VIP meet-and-greet packages will also be available, with tickets for all shows going on sale this Friday, January 13th, at 10am PST on Suicide Silence’s official website. Here are the dates:
2/19 – San Antonio, TX – Paper Tiger
2/21 – Dallas, TXS – Trees
2/22 – Albuquerque, NM – The Launchpad
