Rock for Docs: Metal YouTubers Team Up to Launch Fundraiser for Doctors Without Borders
More than a dozen YouTubers from around the metalsphere have formed a team dedicated to raising money for Doctors Without Borders, an organization that focuses on delivering emergency medical aid to people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters, or exclusion from health care.
The new project is called Rock For Docs. YouTubers who have joined so far, most of which you’ve seen here on MetalSucks over the years: Rob Scallon, Anthony Vincent (Ten Second Songs), Ola Englund (Feared, The Haunted), Keith Merrow (Conquering Dystopia), Jared Dines, Brian Storm, Ryan ‘Fluff’ Bruce, Rob Lundgren, Pete Cottrell, Eric Calderone, Rob Chapman, Angel Vivaldi, Leo Moracchioli (Frog Leap Studios), Rabea Massaad, Trey Xavier (Gear Gods), Robert Baker, and Tore Fagerheim. We here at MetalSucks are also proud to back Rock For Docs, along with our friends at Rock Feed, Metal Injection and Gear Gods.
In exchange for your donations, the above YouTubers will offer exclusives, original music, and perform outrageous stunts when certain financial goals are reached. The highest donor will get a unique package from all of the YouTubers that includes personal items, merchandise, and albums.
Rock For Docs officially launches today (December 22, 2016) and runs until December 31st. The goal of the initiative is to raise money and awareness for Doctors Without Borders, a world class organization that has been awarded The Nobel Peace Prize and provides medical treatment in war zones.
