For Just $250, One of these Busts of Papa Emeritus from Ghost Can Be Yours
Ghost are now selling limited-edition busts of “former” vocalist Papa Emeritus II and soon-to-be “former” vocalist Papa Emeritus III. The product description from the band’s online merch store is as follows:
- The figures were sculpted in clay, molded, and cast in a solid, high quality, urethane resin.
- Each one is individually hand painted, numbered, and signed by the artist, Eric Haskell.
- Papa is displayed on a 4.5” diameter round base, accented by Ghost’s logo.
- The entire piece stands roughly 7.5” tall, and weighs over 1 pound!
I haven’t seen anyone so excited about something weighing more than one pound since my sister gave birth to her crack baby.
The bad news is, they’re only making forty apiece of these two busts, and each one will cost you $250. The good news is, you can’t even get decent caviar for $250/lb., and this will help you differentiate between the two Papa Emeriti: Papa Emeritus II has a silver hat with no frilly stuff, white ears, and railroad lipstick, Papa Emeritus III has a gold hat with frilly stuff, regular ears, and no railroad lipstick.
