New Song Alert: Get Gunned Down by Power Trip’s “Firing Squad”

Dallas crossover outfit Power Trip are back, with their next effort — Nightmare Logic — scheduled to come out February 22nd via Southern Lord.

Two pieces of good news:

1. They’ve premiered a track called “Firing Squad” on NPR, and it rips.
2. The reverb issues that plagued their last release have (somewhat) been addressed here.

The track showcases everything we’ve loved about Power Trip in the past: gnarly thrash riffs, breakneck drums, menacing hardcore vocals and a general no-fucks-given attitude. Here’s to hoping these guys get back out on the road in conjunction with their new album release.
