Watch Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder Yarl His Way Through “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” at the World Series

As I write this, The Cubs are up 3-2 in the bottom of the 7th, down three games to one in the World Series. If they can hold on, more baseball this week! If not, well… I’m very sorry for any Cubs fans reading this the day after. Been there. It sucks :(

Anyway, Pearl Jam vocalist Eddie Vedder sang “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” during the 7th inning stretch at Wrigley Field tonight… and by “sang” we mean “yarled the heck out of it like a moose with its testacles stuck in wood-chipper.” It’s quite endearing, actually! Vedder is a big Cubs fan and we’re sure this was an honor and a blast for him. Watch the footage below.

While you’re at it: Anthrax singer Joey Belladonna belted out “The National Anthem” at Wrigley towards the end of the regular season.
