Death in the Family Forces Shawn “Clown” Crahan to Leave Slipknot’s Australian Tour

Slipknot’s Shawn “Clown” Crahan has been forced to leave the band’s currently-ongoing Australian tour as a result of the death of his father-in-law. Music Feeds reports that vocalist Corey Taylor broke the news during during the band’s performance last night at Brisbane’s Entertainment Centre:

The band will complete the two remaining dates of the tour without Crahan. By the time is this is published, the first of those shows, at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena, will already be complete; the final show will take place Monday, October 31 at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena.
