Video: The Dillinger Escape Plan Perform with Original Vocalist Dimitri Minakakis in Seattle

The PRP reports that The Dillinger Escape Plan performed with their original frontman, Dimitri Minakakis, during their set in Seattle, WA this past Tuesday, October 25. Fan-filmed video of that little reunion can be viewed below.

This isn’t the first time DEP have brought Minakakis out for a live cameo — I saw him perform with the band here in New York in 2007 — nor is Minakakis the only former member of the band to recently perform with them: Jeff Tuttle, who played guitar with them from 2007-2012, joined them on October 17 in Pontiac, MI for two songs from Ire Works. I’ve included some video of that event below the Minakakis video.

It’s very cool to see DEP enlist some of their former members to help them say sayonara to the fans. The band’s tour continues tonight in Berkley, CA. Get dates here. Who knows? Maybe Chris Pennie or Gil Sharone will turn up at one of these performances, too.
