Exclusive Album Stream: Myrone, Drift Stage Vol. 1 (OST)

MYRONE. If the mere mention of that name doesn’t send shivers down your spine and make your genitals feel warm, you clearly haven’t been paying attention to MetalSucks for the past two years.

In addition to being the undisputed king of “soft shred” and the metal portion of Los Angeles DJ/guitar duo Snaked, Myrone wrote the entire soundtrack for Drift Stage, an arcade racing game that is coming soon to PC/MAC and PS4.

And now, after releasing a smattering of singles and EP’s on Soundcloud and Bandcamp over the past few years, Myrone will finally unveil his first proper album, Drift Stage, Vol. 1 (OST) on October 28th both digitally and on vinyl through Ghost Ramp. If you’ve been closely following Myrone’s career, as we have, then you already know most of these songs (there are a few new ones, though!), but it’s still a momentous occasion to see them collected in one convenient location, in large part because of the intense thrill it’ll be to watch anyone who hasn’t gotten hip to Myrone yet experience his magic for the first time ever.
