Nightkin Cover Metallica, Slayer, and King Diamond on New EP

If you’re not already aware, Nightkin are a killer fucking death metal band featuring former members of The Black Dahlia Murder and current members of The Red Chord, and hot damn if they don’t just slay. Definitely check out their past stuff. I certainly recommend it.

But it’s not just their own songs that Nightkin kill it on. The band has just released an new EP titled Stampede, and it includes an original title track and three killer covers–Metallica’s “Trapped Under Ice,” Slayer’s “Silent Scream,” and King Diamond’s “Welcome Home.” All three are creepy guts-dripping interpretations of the originals, so even fans who for some stupid reason don’t love those original tracks will probably dig these covers.
