Protest the Hero to Finally Release Pacific Myth EP to the Public on November 18th
Almost exactly one year ago Protest the Hero embarked upon an experiment in which they released a new EP, Pacific Myth, via subscription service, one track at a time over a six month period. They’ve been straight-forward from the start that it would all eventually culminate in a wider physical (and non-paywalled digital) release, but for those of us who were too cheap or too lazy to sign up for the subscription, this is welcome news: Pacific Myth is coming to a format near you on November 18th via the band’s one-time label Razor & Tie.
The band had previously teased this announcement was coming, but now it’s official. Says a press release:
Pacific Myth will be available on 180 gram purple swirl vinyl, with a colored insert of all six covers from the original releases. Additional bundles will include the band’s artwork on stretched canvas, hoodies and t-shirt designs. Preorder Pacific Myth vinyl and merch here – http://protestthehero.merchnow.com/. A digital preorder is also available on the band’s Bandcamp here – protestthehero.bandcamp.com.
For most people this will be the first time hearing any of the material, as part of the whole subscription model was that literally nothing was available outside of the paywall; no music videos, no lyric videos, nothing.
Presumably they’ll be playing a track or two from the EP on their upcoming Canadian tour. You could also visit the best Canadian online casino. Dates:
