Listen to the New Whores Song “Baby Teeth”

How cool is it that Whores signed to a label as large as eOne? Their brand of metal isn’t anywhere within the consciousness of the metal mainstream, but they’ve steadily built a healthy following for themselves over the past several years, staking out their own ground as one of the most exciting up and coming bands out there. What’s more, they’re in large part responsible for the current noise rock revival — they’re pioneers.

And, if this new track is any indication, Whores’ new album Gold is going to be fucking NASTY. “Baby Teeth” isn’t the first song to be released from it —  “Playing Poor” came out a few weeks ago — but it is the first one we’re posting here, because we’re chumps who fell asleep at the wheel. I think I like this song more than the first; it’s much slower, and it’s got that patented Whores groove that I love so, so much. Instead of knocking with you with a right hook to the dome, it’s just gut punch after merciless gut punch, wearing you down one at a time.
