Here’re Members of Korn Screaming Britney Spears, Justin Bieber, and Rihanna Lyrics

Though I’m a metalhead who hates the way the mainstream vilifies my fellow headbangers, I sometimes hope something will spark the witch hunt. Like, something will for some reason cause teens to get super insane and depressed, thus inspiring their parents to get out the torches and pitchforks.

This video of members of Korn screaming pop lyrics is just such a thing. I hope someone finds their friend with his brains blown out and a note on his chest saying, ‘OOPS! I DID IT AGAIN’ while this video plays on repeat in the background.

The video comes from IHeartRadio, who had Korn members Head, Munky, and Ray Luzier scream the lyrics to pop songs by artists including Britney Spears, Beyoncé, Rihanna, and Bieb Fortuna in their scary “metal” voices. It’s painful to watch, especially as you realize that Korn’s actual vocalist, who does all the actual metal screaming for the band, couldn’t be bothered to take part in this nonsense.

Anyway, take a look if you’ve got a few minutes. Just know that it might want to make you kill yourself, which would spark a Christian movement against metalheads screaming pop lyrics for ironic shock value, which might not be a bad thing. Korn’s new album, The Serenity of Suffering, drops October 21st.
