Call of the Void Ensure the Headbanging Goes “On and On”

Colorado’s Call of the Void aren’t always my cup of tea, but when I crave some skull-crushing blackened hardcore they’re one of the few bands that scratches the itch every fucking time.

And man, is their new track, “On and On,” just the epitome of that. It’s one of those mid-paced ragers where every single instrument is a form of percussion, vocals included (the vocal rhythms work especially well here, especially when the title is bellowed). It’s the perfect soundtrack to a shitty mood, exuding pure heaviness and negativity. Ugh, just loving this.
