Exclusive Music Video Premiere: Nero Di Marte’s “Those Who Leave”

As a brilliant scientist once said, “Hold onto your butts.”

It is with no small amount of pride that MetalSucks today debuts a new music from one of the most creative bands in all of modern metaldom: Italy’s Nero Di Marte! “Those Who Leave,” from the band’s brilliant 2014 release, Derivae, is exactly the kind of envelope-pushing proggy post-metal that made all of us at MS fall in love with NDM in the first place. Presumably not satisfied to release just any old visual accompaniment for such an innovative track, Nero Di Marte enlisted director Rosamaria Montalbano to create a video every bit as beautiful, unsettling, and mind-bending as the band’s music. It’s a must-watch.
