Rage Against the Machine’s Zack de la Rocha Releases “Digging for Windows,” His First New Track in Over a Decade

Zack de la Rocha is keeping busy while his Rage Against the Machine bandmates rock out with Prophets of Rage: the RATM frontman has just released “Digging for Windows” as a free download on BitTorrent Now. Not counting his totally killer guest appearance on Run the Jewels’ “Close Your Eyes (and Count to Fuck,” this recording marks the first time de la Rocha has made new music in over a decade.

As you can probably imagine, “Digging” sounds nothing like Rage — the track, produced by Run the Jewels’  El-P, isn’t even rock. But variety is the spice of life, right? Also, if you’re a de la Rocha fan, I can’t imagine you won’t dig this. The dude remains calm like a bomb, his phat flow seething with righteous rage. It’s really good stuff.
