Protest the Hero’s Pacific Myth EP to Receive Wide Release “Soon”
Up until now, the only Protest the Hero fans who have gotten to hear the band’s most recent release, Pacific Myth, were ones who invested in a subscription plan that gradually unveiled the six-song EP over the course of many months. Meanwhile, those of us either too poor or too stupid to subscribe and too moral or too racked by guilt to download it illegally have had to wait patiently for Pacific Myth to be released unto the general public.
So, swell news: Metal Injection reports that our patience will pay off soon! How soon? “Fucking soon!”
Metal Injection goes on to note that the band has promised to release Pacific Myth “right before” their just-announced Canadian tour with A Wilhelm Scream, Auras, and Cyclamen. Given that the trek kicks off December 8, we can reasonably assume Myth will be released no later than December 2 (the last Friday — new shit day! — before the tour begins).
So there ya have it: many of us will get new Protest the Hero before 2016 is done. Everyone who subscribed: your days of feeling superior are over! You’re like Game of Thrones fans who read all the books after the show finally outpaced those books! PPPPPFFFFFFTTTT!!!
