Watch Supergroup Giraffe Tongue Orchestra (Alice in Chains, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Mastodon) Make Their Live Debut

It’s hard to believe, but after approximately 2,000,000 years of hearing of about ’em, supergroup Giraffe Tongue Orchestra is finally a really real thing. The band’s debut album, Broken Lines, is mere weeks away from release, and this past weekend, the band made their live debut at the UK’s Reading and Leeds festivals.

Needless to say, some fans captured that debut on their phones. So does GTO live up to the hype, or are they another supergroup that ends up being less than the sum of their parts? Check out the footage below and see what you think!

Broken Lines comes out September 23 on Party Smasher Inc., the label owned by the group’s guitarist, Ben Weinman (The Dillinger Escape Plan, duh).
