Video: Tracking Death Metal Vocals While Skydiving

For Rob Scallon’s latest high-jinks* he’s put down the ukulele and gone up in the sky for one of his most fun videos to date: death metal growls while skydiving!**

Alright, alright: due to what we’re presuming would be extreme difficulty recording vocals while dropping to earth at hundreds of miles per hour, actor Jory Caron didn’t actually record vocals while skydiving. Nor did he even record vocals at all; Austin Dickey did, and you can watch him lay down tracks here. But Caron definitely did skydive, and the resulting footage — complete with dubbed screams — is badass.

Still don’t think I could ever skydive. I’d have an instant anxiety attack.
