Here’s What Famous Metal Musicians and Personalities Think of the New Metallica Song “Hardwired”
Metallica are their own fucking world economy with influence over the music sphere like no other metal band. When they released their new song “Hardwired” yesterday afternoon the entire metal world dropped what they were doing to listen. Even mainstream publications like Time Magazine and The New York Post published articles on the new song, with the latter claiming it’s Metallica’s “ballsiest track in decades.” Metallica’s reach is so great, so universal, that they’ve transcended metal at this point. Which is why there will never be another metal band as big as they are.
But what did their peers think? “New Metallica” is always a controversial topic, so we’ve collected some reaction from around the metalsphere to see where peoples’ heads are at.
