Tombs Signs With Metal Blade, Announce Tour With Wolvhammer
I have only good things to say about Brooklyn’s Tombs. Their unique brand of psychedelic blackened sludge scratches a real specific itch for me, and the EP they released this year, All Empires Fall, is fucking phenomenal.
So I’m happy to announce that Tombs have just joined the Metal Blade Records roster! The band posted the following on their Facebook:
Good for these guys! Given how often they’re lumped into the metal-but-not-metal category, it’s cool to see them getting recognized by the metallest of metal labels. I do wonder what happened with Relapse, who released the band’s two biggest albums of late, 2011’s Path of Totality and 2014’s Savage Gold, but I also know frontman Mike Hill is not quiet about his opinions, so one assumes they just got a better offer from Metal Blade.
If that weren’t enough, the band has also announced a US headlining tour with Wolvhammer, which is a massive Fuck Yeah. Be sure to get your guts ripped out at one of the dates listed below:
