Twitching Tongues’ “Insincerely Yours” Acoustic Cover is Sincerely Beautiful
In case you’ve never heard Twitching Tongues’ “Insincerely Yours (Tears & Blood),” well, hear it here now:
Cool song. Doesn’t exactly scream “acoustic cover,” though, right?
And yet, this young woman, known only as Cera, has indeed covered it acoustically. And she’s done a wonderful job, cleverly keeping the original’s vocal melody and basic chord progression while ditching its aural blitzkrieg. The result? The song suddenly seems… pretty. Who’da thunk it?
Check out Cera’s cover below. Hopefully at some point she gets to record this is a studio of at least slight higher quality than her bathroom.
