Jason Newsted Announces West Coast Dates with New Band

Do you, like Vince, appreciate Jason Newsted’s recent conversion to an acoustic sound? Have you suddenly gained a newfound respect for arguably the most mocked guy in metal because he’s no longer playing in a dozen different metal bands that never quite get off the ground? Do you want to support a guy who’s brave enough to delete his Twitter account?

Well, now you can pay your respects in person, as Newsted’s new group, Jason Newsted and The Chophouse Band, has booked a series of west coast live dates, which you can find below.

Not sure you want to shell out your hard-earned greenbacks to see Metallica’s second bassist play with an acoustic band?
