King 810 “Ain’t Goin’ Back Again”
There is plenty not to like about the new King 810 Song, “I Ain’t Goin’ Back Again.” It’s not really a metal song. In fact, it’s not really an any genre song so much it’s a spoken word piece where the words spoken only kinda-sorta make sense (for example: the lyric “No man can take nothing from you,” which means “All men must take something from you,” which I’m pretty sure is the opposite of what they were trying to say).
All of that being said, I think this is the best King 810 song (or spoken word piece or whatever) I’ve heard to date. The chorus, which is built around an echoey kinda Western-sounding guitar part (think Nick Cave without the genius), is really catchy.
That’s it. That’s really the only reason this is the best King 810 song ever. Because the chorus is catchy enough to make you forget how dumb everything else is.
Listen below and see if you agree. Then go to the comments section and explain to me why the singer is afraid to tell his friends that are depending on him that no man can take nothing from him and that he has a thick skin. Seriously. I’ve been trying to figure it out for twenty minutes and it’s giving me a migraine.
