Parkway Drive Have Too Much Ire, Need to Release More of it
Parkway Drive, Australia’s own mediocre metalcore act featuring bassist Owen Wilson, are getting ready to release the digital deluxe version of their recent album Ire.
Apparently the deluxe edition will have three bonus tracks that you’ll only be able to own if you’re willing to drop more of your hard earned cash on what is essentially just a re-release with more crap attached to it. In an effort to drum up support for the upcoming album, the band has decided to make a new track available for streaming. The song is called “Devil’s Calling,” and it sounds a lot like something Atreyu would’ve happily shat out in the early 2000s, which doesn’t make much of a case for its integrity.
If these are the kinds of extras the deluxe version of Ire is going to have then I don’t understand how even the most hardcore PD fans can get on board. But who knows, maybe it’s just not for me. If you’re interested in checking it out you can do so right here or below.
The digital deluxe edition of Ire will be out on July 15th and I fully expect to see it set the sales charts ablaze as fans go into a buying frenzy.
