Joe Perry Rushed to Hospital Midway Through Hollywood Vampires’ Brooklyn Gig

During Hollywood Vampires’ show in Coney Island last night, guitarist Joe Perry suffered from cardiac arrest and had to be rushed to the hospital by FDNY and NYPD.

Reports claim that Perry collapsed onstage. He then attempted to play the show longer, but finally had to leave. The New York Post claims that the guitarist suffered cardiac arrest (I keep wanting to capitalize that, like it’s a band name) and was rushed to Coney Island Hospital, where he was listed as being in stable condition.

A fan posted the following footage of Perry playing while sitting on the edge of the drum riser, looking about as happy as one does when he suffers cardiac arrest midway through a live show:

Our hearts go out to Perry and his loved ones who were no doubt scared shitless by this whole thing. We wish him a speedy recovery.
