Stream the New Big Business Album Command Your Weather in Full!

Please forgive our trespasses: with a holiday weekend inching closer, we at the MetalSucks Mansion checked out kinda early last week. So while Noisey’s been streaming the new Big Business album Command Your Weather since last Wednesday, we’re just now getting to it. Sorry sorry sorry!

But if you, like we, were too busy chugging Bud Heavy and shoving bratwurst down your gullet to check out Command Your Weather last week then you’re in for a treat. The album sees Big Business return to their original two-man lineup of Jared Warren on bass and Coady Willis on drums, making for a vibe that Noisey scribe Cat Jones astutely describes as “eerie.” The emphasis throughout is most certainly on the drums and the bass, and the result is a tribal, plodding, fuzzed out assault. Says Croady on the working dynamic this time around:

We kind of had a rough year parting ways with our guitar player. It was kind of a bummer process. It didn’t end well. That might have had something to do with it. Going back to a two-piece again, it felt like we really pulled together and did something good. We felt hopeful at the same time. We were really excited about it, and it felt like a new beginning.”
