GWAR-B-Q 2016 Lineup Gets Bigger; Adds August Burns Red, Brain Tentacles

August 20th is set to be one helluva day for Richmond, Virginia — because the line-up for the seventh annual GWAR-B-Q just got a lot more badass. August Burns Red, Murphy’s Law, Occultists, Brain Tentacles (featuring members of Municipal Waste and Corrections House), Eat the Turnbuckle, Mobile Deathcamp (ex-GWAR), Sawyer Family, and Death of Rock ‘n’ Roll (also ex-GWAR) all just got added to the bill. Couple that with the fact that Lamb of God, Eyehategod, Against Me!, American Nightmare, and Lagwagon were already on the list, and I think we all can agree there’s something for everyone this time around.

If you want, you can even make a weekend out of it! On August 19th, The National will be hosting B4BQ featuring the entire 2016 Summer Slaughter lineup. That’s two whole days of face-melting metal camaraderie, heavy drinking, and delicious barbecue.

If that’s not enough to entice you, there are two otherGWAR-B-Q acts that have yet to be announced, according to the event’s website. We’re not sure whether those will be bands or special guests. Wonder who they could be…
