Obscura Release Video for “Ten Sepiroth,” Announce European Tour with Revocation, Beyond Creation and Rivers of Nihil

Lost in the fray of excellent 2016 releases so far, but absolutely not forgotten: Obscura’s stunning tech-death masterpiece Akroasis. It may’ve taken bandleader/vocalist/guitarist Steffen Kummerer five years to get the album finished and released, and he may’ve surrounded himself with a completely different cast of characters since the last time around, but the wait and the lineup swaps were worth it — Akroasis brings the riffs, the fury, the band’s patented weedily-weedily and then some.

Obscura’s new music video for Akroasis album track “Ten Sepiroth” seems a perfect excuse to revisit the album. It also provides an up-close look at the chops of new members Rafael Trujillo (guitar), Sebastian Lanser (drums) and bassist Linus Klausenitzer (who’s been with the band since 2011). And hot damn do all these guys rip.
