Watch Two Minutes To Late Night, The Most Metal Talk Show Of All Time

Does late night TV fill you with graphic repulsion? Does Seth Meyers deserve to have his face melted off with a welding torch? When you see Jimmy Kimmel, do you imagine his severed head screaming as a venomous snake crawls through his eye sockets?

Thankfully, there’s now a late night show for you! From the makers of ‘Mutoid Man Playing Tom Jones On The Subway’ comes Two Minutes to Late Night, the only talk show made BY corpsepainted misanthropes FOR corpsepainted misanthropes. Hosted by Gwarsenio Hall and featuring Nick Cageao and Mutoid Man, the first episode has guests Ben Weinman of the Dillinger Escape Plan and songwriter Laura Stevenson, along with a weather report by Randy Simmons from out in front of Danzig’s house.

Do yourself a favor, watch this, because it had me laughing my ass off the entire time. Hall asking Weinman, “Why do you play guitar like there’s a snake trying to kill you?” might be worth your half-hour alone, though Cageao’s drunken madness and championing of Donna Summer’s “Hot Stuff” are also a plus. These guys are trying to make Two Minutes a regular thing, too–there’s a sketch with Nails they’re promising that looks to be fucking side-splitting–and it would be nice to see a metal show that isn’t a bunch of dads talking about Saxon.
