A Wolves in the Throne Room is always a great time… to take a nap! HAHAHAHAHA no, I kid, these guys are a lot of fun live, they’re just more Stare Straight Ahead And Let The Sound Transport You kind of fun fun, not Funnel A Beer With A Dude Named Amputee Bob kind of fun fun.

So you should make a point to catch the band as they head out on their upcoming North American tour, which includes a stop at the Basilica Soundscape festival in New York alongside Cobalt, Youth Code, and more. For those of us who can’t make it into the woods to kill a rabbit and drink its still-steaming blood beneath the silvery moon, this tour should be the next best thing. Let’s just hope WITTR lean more towards the metal material and less towards their Pure Moods-esque stuff.
