Jim Breuer Does His Best Ozzy, Brian Johnson, Halford, and Dee Snider In “Old School” Video
From the two tracks we’ve heard so far, comedian Jim Breuer’s new metal album, Songs From The Garage, appears to be entirely about old dudes who like metal and how ridiculous and mundane they are.
Now, Jim Breüer and The Loud & Rowdy have released a new track called “Old School”, which is… sort of not about that? It’s about old-school metal and how much he likes it. So, sort of the same thing. The video includes footage of Breuer doing his best Ozzy, Halford, and Brian Johnson impressions, to a mixed degree (should’ve done the Ozzy voice).
Even weirder is that Breuer does a grunge impression, swaying around in flannel as he sings about how grunge didn’t kill metal or whatever. But personally, I wish he’d gone more current, and worn a barely-hanging-off-of-him tank top and a bunch of obnoxious neck tattoos. Come on, man, even Brian Posehn references Every Time I Die.
Anyway, here’s “Old School.” Jim Breüer and the Loud & Rowdy’s Songs from the Garage comes out May 27th on Metal Blade. You can pre-order it here.
