Wanna hear something weird? MLB.com, the official website of Major League Baseball, is the media outlet that has debuted Basses Loaded, the latest offering from the Melvins. I’m not complaining — the more people exposed to this, the better, right? — I’m just giggling. One baseball pun and a cover of “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” and BOOM, MLB, here the Melvins come!

ANYWAY, you can stream the album below. The title is a reference to the fact that the record features six different bassists, including Krist Novoselic (Nirvana), J.D. Pinkus (Butthole Surfers), Jared Warren (Big Business), and Steve McDonald (Redd Kross). Basses Loaded comes out tomorrow, June 3, on Ipecac.
