Video: Electricity Protests the Existence of Korn
Electricity took a stand against Korn this weekend when it refused to work during the band’s set at Rock in Rio Lisbon. As a result, the nu-metal band were forced to cut their set short.
“We’ve worked for Korn for far too long, always under the tired auspices of ‘just following orders,’” Joulie Hoffa, president of Local 1759, said in a statement. “No longer will we waste valuable resources on endeavors with such feeble returns.”
In an unrelated incident which occurred during the same concert, vocalist Jonathan Davis also fell down while performing “Come Undone.” Attendees of Rock in Rio Lisbon, however, have told MetalSucks that this was still only the second-most embarrassing thing to happen to Jonathan Davis during the course of the show, after singing Korn songs.
Video of electricity’s protest against Korn, as well as Davis’ spill, can be viewed below.
