Lamb of God are Feeling the Babymetal Mania
Seems like every time Babymetal go on tour a whole slew of famous metal bands get hip to what they’re doing via playing the same festivals. A couple of summers ago they met Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax, Deftones, Carcass and Dragonforce on the European festival circuit, all of whom now call themselves fans. Last week Rob Zombie outed himself as a supporter, going as far as to vehemently defend the band on his Facebook page much to the chagrin of his own fans.
While we can’t say they’re willing to talk shit on the Internet in defense of Babymetal’s good name (not yet, anyway), Babymetal’s latest high profile metal fans will surely make some folks very angry: Lamb of God. Here’s a photo of the three Japanese sensations posing with Lamb of God’s Willie Adler, John Campbell and Chris Adler — which we’re guessing was taken at the Northern Invasion Festival this past weekend, at which both bands played — posted on Chris’s Twitter:

With a European tour and some more US dates on the horizon this summer, hopefully we can look forward to more such pictures of Babymetal with high profile metal bands. Personally I’m hoping for a shot with Cattle Decapitation and/or Goatwhore, but that’s just me.
