Emmure is Glass Cloud Now
After everyone plays an instrument quit Emmure this past December, vocalist Frankie Palmeri vowed to continue the band with a new line-up. That new line-up has now been unveiled, and, well, it’s basically Glass Cloud (via The PRP):
- Vocals – Frankie Palmeri
- Guitars – Josh Travis (Glass Cloud, ex-The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravagazna)
- Bass – Phil Lockett (ex-The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravagazna)
- Drums – Josh Miller (ex-Glass Cloud)
Didn’t the band used to have two guitarists, or am I making that up? Well, whatever.
This is almost an interesting development, for one reason and one reason only: Josh Travis. I don’t care much for Glass Cloud, but The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravagazna was THE SHIT before they broke up in 2012. Assuming Travis writes the band’s new album and Palmeri can keep the lyrics about oral sex and Street Fighter to a minimum, this means the new Emmure album could actually be… gulp… good. I guess we’ll find out whenever this version of the band gets around to recording.
