Hell YES, Demiricous are Coming Back
MetalSucks has been big fans of Indianapolis thrash crew Demiricous since back in 2007. They make the kind of grinding, unmitigating metal that latter-day Slayer wishes it was. Here, listen to “Acid Lung” from 2007’s Two (Poverty):

Fucking killer, right?
The last real news we heard from the band was in 2011, and I’d begun to assume they were no more…until today! The PRP reports that the band will be playing live at the Vogue Theater in Indianapolis on July 15th, with Anapparatus and Photian Schism providing backup.
To anyone in the Indianapolis area, I can’t stress enough how cool this band is. I actually had the privilege of seeing them live in 2008 (was it? Might have been 2009) at one of Lit Lounge’s Precious Metal Mondays, and they absolutely destroyed the place. Notable among the band is vocalist Nate Olp, whose full-throated scream on the band’s records is perfectly recreated live.
Keep up with the Vogue’s website to find out when tickets go on sale. Just don’t miss these guys–they slay like it was their job. Hopefully, they have another album in the works, but hey, beggars can’t be choosers.
