WAYYYY DOWN, ALL THE WAY TO CHINATOWN…

dna-of-gsp-movie-poster If I was competing in today’s Mac and Cheese edition of The Takedowns aka “America’s Most Important Food Competition” this is exactly the kind of smack I’d be talking to the other entrants.

But happily for me, I’ll just get to reap the delicious rewards of the competition and cast my vote for the winner.

FOOD = METAL

COMPETITION = METAL

DEMOCRACY = METAL
Plus the mighty Matt Timms, creator/purveyor of The Takedowns — which have been popping up in more and more places aside from hometown Brooklyn (such as Austin, Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles) takedownLDP with an increasing variety of delicacy battles (meatballs, tacos, chili, lobster, cookies, chocolate, ice cream, food on a stick (!), the aforementioned mac and cheese, and MORE) — is indeed a metal enthusiast (DUH), and can be spotted at various heavy music shows across the land spreading good tidings to all.

If you are in NYC today, take it all off (clothing optional) and go down (oral activities encouraged) to the sensual sampling scenario happening from noon-2pm at The Royal Palms Shuffleboard Club in Brooklyn… if not, well 1) sucks for you but 2) check out The Takedowns website for upcoming events and 3) email [email protected] to compete, IF YOU DARE!!!!!
