“I Am Charles Bronson:” Stuck Mojo Have a Solution for All the World’s Problems
Only from the twisted mind of Rich Ward could come a juxtaposition so ridiculous: an opening montage featuring TV news clips of the Paris terrorist attacks, gang rapes and convenience store robberies, followed by a rapped chorus with the line, “I am Charles Bronson! What’s ya chance of survival? Man, it’s highly improbable!”
But maybe Ward is onto something: in these crazy times perhaps what we need is a fucking superhero! The ultimate badass to rescue us from our violent and terrible selves.
Contemplate that as you watch Stuck Mojo’s video for “Charles Bronson,” their first new song since 2008’s The Great Revival. Also feel free to contemplate whether Stuck Mojo should still be making music in 2016… I’m not entirely convinced yet, but with a single this bold I’m pretty sure the answer is yes, although you’ll probably disagree.
The Andy Sneap-produced Here Come the Infidels comes out June 24th; pre-order here.
