Here’s Mastodon’s Brann Dailor Performing on Late Night with Seth Meyers!

Mastodon drummer Brann Dailor seems like a good dude. When he’s not apologizing for his bandmates’ anti-metal remarks, he’s teaching old dudes to wail on the drums. So it’s no surprise that when Late Night with Seth Meyers asked him on, Dailor was game to sit in with their house band, the 8G Band, for a week, and was a good sport about it.

Our dudes over at Metal Injection put together this video, which compiles Brann’s appearances on the show, with highlights including a little sketch where Dailor calls host Seth Meyers a bitch and plays along with tap dancer Savion Glover (no easy feat, given Glover’s insane talent). Who knows, maybe Dailor could score a semi-permanent gig for Meyer’s show, become a sort of Metal LaBamba.
