Books are boring. Opeth are exciting. So who wins here? Opeth, duh.

If you aren’t already aware, Opeth are releasing a 205-page photo book called The Book of Opeth that tells the band’s story from beginning to present through the eyes of the band members themselves. And of course there are going to be some incredible pictures in there because 1) it’s a photo book, and 2) books with pictures >>>>> books with only words.

So now when it rains, you can listen to Opeth AND read about Opeth. That’s sure to make someone’s day. The book will be published sometime this month according to the website, and if you want to preorder it, the only place you can do that is www.opethbook.com.

As I said, these photos are incredible. But don’t just take my word for it, look for yourself.
