Have Bullet For My Valentine Gone Indie?! Band Signs Distribution Deal With Underground Hipster Metal Label!
Bullet For My Valentine have always stayed legit, making rad and heavy-metal that pushes the envelope while still giving non-“metalheads” catchy stuff to sing along to. Now, the band has made a hardcore career move by signing a worldwide distribution deal with “Search and Destroy” and”Spinefarm Records”.
Said frontman and heartthrob Matt Tuck:
It feels great to be part of a family that truly believes in the band and is ready to take us to the next level. It’s been an incredible journey so far — but with the Search And Destroy/Spinefarm team behind us, it feels like we’ve just begun. Here’s to the future.”
Good on Tuck! An artist like him could have easily blown off the music underground, but instead he and his bandmates are happy to throw a bone to the little man. It can’t be easy running some small label with a violent name like “Spinefarm”, so having at least one band you’re working with who isn’t a bunch of D&D players making burp noises will hopefully elevate this unheard-of distribution company to a new level.
Good luck to Bullet For My Valentine on this brave move. The band’s latest, Venom, is out now on RCA.
Thanks, Blabbermouth!
