Voivod to Tour North America with King Parrot and Child Bite

Good news for fans of classic thrash: Voivod, a French-Canadian band with a Slavic name, will once again tour North America starting in May. And by “North America,” I mean “parts of the United States and Canada.” But you probably knew that because “North American Tour” almost never means “Including Mexico,” the same the way “The World Series” is really “The United States and Toronto Series.”

Joining Voivod for the trek will be King Parrot, an Australian band with an English name (although there’s no such language as Australian, despite what some people will have you believe, so that makes sense), and Child Bite, who are from I don’t know where because their music is just not my shot of tequila.

So these shows should be fun! Just not for Mexicans who live in Mexico.
