Exclusive Album Stream: Hammer Fight, Profound and Profane
Naches is a Yiddish word that refers to the pride a parent feels in watching their child grow and mature (the “ch” sounds like hocking a loogey, not like the hard “ch” in “nachos”). And while the New Jersey scumbags in Hammer Fight certainly didn’t spring forth from the warmth of the MetalSucks loins, we’ve been writing about them since 2013 and we’ve known the dudes for even longer, and we feel a certain sense of naches in seeing them mature into a national touring band, now signed to Napalm Records!
So we were only too stoked to say “yes” when the band asked us to premiere the full stream of their new album Profound and Profane, their Napalm Records debut. It’s chock full of meaty, bluesy, southern-fried riffs, anthemic party choruses and beer swillin’, pot smokin’ good times all around. You’re gonna fucking love it.
Hammer Fight’s new album, Profound and Profane, comes out March 25 on Napalm. Pre-order it here.
