Every Time I Die’s Andy Williams Lost His Pro Wrestling Debut :(
Every Time I Die guitarist Andy Williams’ wrestling career got off to a promising start: even before his first match, he adeptly bodyslammed Smash Wrestling’s Tarik into the mat. This winter he publicly challenged Tarik in what would be his singles debut, and that match took place this past Sunday, March 20th, as part of Smash Wrestling‘s Any Given Sunday 4.
Welp, things didn’t go as planned for the metal musician, surprising given his imposing physique and intimidating facial hair but not so shocking given his newbie status. Williams fought hard, but his mustache was no match for Tarik’s experience, and the latter prevailed in what by all accounts was a well-fought match. The PRP has collected some posts and photos from Instagram and Twitter — from Williams himself, Smash Wrestling, and fans — and we’ve reposted those below for your perusal.
